We are proud to offer the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) program, a transformative college and career readiness initiative. Our school is proud to offer the ACHIEVE program, which provides enriching after-school and summer learning opportunities for students and families. Through this grant, we offer academic support, hands-on enrichment activities, and family engagement programs that extend learning beyond the traditional school day. Whether it’s tutoring, STEM projects, arts, or leadership development, ACHIEVE helps students grow and learn in a safe, supportive environment. It also includes meaningful family engagement opportunities, helping to strengthen the home-school connection and support student success from every angle.

At Donaldson, we believe in the promise of every student, and we promise to deliver the educational experiences children need to grow and flourish, from the first day of their kindergarten year to the day they walk across the stage and earn their high school diplomas. One of our core missions is to deliver on the Promise of a Graduate, instilling eight key skills and characteristics in our students as they grow from year to year. Welcome to Donaldson Elementary

Donaldson Elementary School is a welcoming neighborhood school in north Tucson where students in preschool through 5th grade grow academically, socially and creatively. The school offers high-quality, personalized instruction in reading, writing and math, alongside enriching programs in music, art, PE and STEM. Highly qualified teachers and staff create a supportive environment where every child is known and valued.
