Message from the Principal

Andrew Szczepaniak principal

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we begin this new school year at Donaldson, I want to thank you for being such an important part of your child’s learning journey. We’re looking forward to a year filled with goals, growth, and great accomplishments.

At our school, we set high expectations and offer strong support to help each student succeed. That work starts in the classroom, but it’s strengthened by what happens at home. Together, we can help our students become confident readers, problem-solvers, and kind classmates.

Here are some helpful tips to support your child’s success this year:

  • Set learning goals together: Help your child talk about what they want to improve or learn this year.
  • Keep reading a priority: A few minutes of reading each day adds up to big results.
  • Establish homework habits: Same time, same place each day makes routines easier.
  • Limit distractions: Encourage focus time without screens, especially before bed.
  • Check in regularly: Use ParentSquare to connect with teachers and stay informed.

We’re proud to be on this journey with your family, and can’t wait to see how much our students will achieve!

Sincerely,

Andrew Szczepaniak
